What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Analyse and Organise: Gather and organise stakeholder requirements to derive system requirements.
  • Identify Needs: Determine diagnostic requirements for systems.
  • Ensure Delivery: Regularly review and ensure on-time delivery of System Architecture Documents (SADs) and feature maturity.
  • Allocate and Define: Allocate system requirements to system elements and define interfaces.
  • Drive Solutions: Lead issue resolution and develop mitigation plans as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Direct the workload of the systems engineering team for assigned programmes.
  • Develop Architectures: Create logical, functional, and system architecture diagrams.
  • Map Requirements: Translate system requirements into components.
  • Support Standards: Ensure compliance with SOTIF (ISO21448) and Cyber Security (UNECE R155) standards.
  • Utilise ASPICE: Apply ASPICE standards for system and feature development.

You’ll Have Experience In:

  • Automotive Development: Knowledge of automotive product development (V-Cycle) from concept to launch.
  • Systems Architecture: Experience with multiple automotive electronic systems and embedded systems.
  • MBSE Methodology: Applying Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop complex systems.
  • Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborating in cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Network Protocols: Familiarity with CAN, FlexRay, LIN, Ethernet, and Wifi.
  • Diagnostics Protocols: Understanding of UDS/ODX.
  • System Integration: Experience in system integration engineering and software delivery.
  • Supplier Management: Managing technical delivery through Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Real-Time Systems: In-depth knowledge of complex real-time operating systems.
  • Technical Documentation: Authoring technical documentation in tools like Doors and Polarion.
  • Autosar Architecture: Experience with Autosar SW architecture.
  • Communication Protection: Knowledge of E2E communication protection.
  • Automotive Standards: Advanced knowledge of DBC and FIBEX standards.
  • Leadership: Experience in cross-functional leadership.
  • Commodities: Experience in one or more of the following: infotainment, connected services, switchgear, lighting, body electronics, power management, EDS, ADAS, powertrain (electrified), chassis.
  • Engineering Background: Strong technical engineering background with analytical skills.
